An absolutely gorgeous Les Paul Custom - 100% original & in fantastic condition for its age! The gold plating is still very vibrant & quite prominent on the hardware. Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for being 45 years old! However, there are signs of mild play wear - various surface scratches, light buckle rash on the back of the body; various nicks, dents & dings. Overall the guitar is in great shape with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile, 3-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original small frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with split diamond inlays. Gibson diecast tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with maple top. Multi-layer top & back binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard & black jackplate. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 1.0 oz.
Electronics: Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Bridge - 7.47K ohms; Neck - 7.41K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '76 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
