Description
A dynamite player & in great shape for being over 40 years old! This beauty features chrome/nickel hardware as opposed to the typical gold & it really sparkles! Slender profile neck & loaded with a pair of killer sounding humbuckers that deliver powerful tones! Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice condition for its age with some typical, mild play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; light buckle rash on the back of the body & surface scratches. There's a very minor seam separation on the bass-side headstock flange - it is not a crack - and does not affect playability. Overall the guitar looks good & has a super cool, true vintage vibe.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Professionally refretted with bigger frets so it plays like a dream! Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Gibson nickel tuners with built-in string winders. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap. Multi-ply top & back binding. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. 5-ply black pickguard & nickel jackplate. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 7.3 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.35K ohms; Neck - 7.68K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '80 & '81; all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
