Description
Authentic vintage vibe & a superb player finished in a gorgeous Wine Red that shows off a bit of flame figuring in the treble-side of the top. The double humbuckers sound terrific & kick out rich, robust tones. The slender profile neck is very comfortable & plays nicely anywhere on the fretboard. Fully inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so the guitar is ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is actually in really great shape for its age. There's some finish wear on the back of the body with some buckle rash around it, but overall the guitar is pretty clean, with some minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Three-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Gibson diecast tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with three-piece maple top. Multi-layer binding on the top & back with 5-ply black pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & original chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 11 lbs 14.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels & chrome covers. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '78 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
