Description
An awesome player's grade LP Deluxe featuring a beefy sounding full-sized bridge humbucker, which is a common mod for this model. The wine red finish is totally classic & well-worn, but thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, the guitar will arrive at your door ready to play straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good old fashioned play wear, just the way we like our vintage guitars to look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, buckle rash & finish wear. Overall the guitar has an ultra cool look to it with a great vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Small frets show some wear, but still have life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with plain maple top & cream binding. Unoriginal stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard & brass jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 14.6 oz.
Electronics: Original neck mini humbucker & unoriginal DiMarzio full-size bridge humbucker with cream bezel. Pots date to '75 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The bottom latch is missing as is the outside Gibson logo.
