Description

Well here's one you don't across very often - a 1979 Gibson Les Paul K.M. (Kalamazoo Model) finished in an ultra cool Tobacco Sunburst. Made for only a brief moment during Gibson's transition from Kalamazoo to Nashville, this gorgeous Les Paul sports a pair of exposed double cream T-Top humbuckers that kick out superb, rich tones. The slender profile neck is super comfy & thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, the guitar is ready to rock straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with a great vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: Slender profile maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Grover nickel tuners & large volute. Les Paul K.M. truss rod cover. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Solid mahogany body with flame maple top & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard & metal jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 9.5 oz & is very resonant!

Electronics: Exposed double-cream T-Top humbuckers with cream bezels. Bridge - 7.61K ohms; Neck - 7.58K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All pots date to '79 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
