Made for only a brief moment in the early '80s, this super rad XR-1 features a pair of meaty sounding humbuckers with coil splitter; a sleek, comfortable neck, and a gorgeous Goldburst finish. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with signs of typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & mild buckle rash. Overall the guitar looks great with an authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: 3-piece maple neck with black binding & cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Diecast tuners & XR-1 truss rod cover. 1 11/16" width bone nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with plain maple top in Goldburst finish. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 11.7 oz.
Electronics: Dirty Fingers neck humbucker & unoriginal Schaller bridge humbucker with black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. 3-way toggle switch & 2-way mini coil splitter. Pots date to '80 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The back latch is missing, but the others work work fine.
