Description
Made for only a brief moment in the early to mid '90s, the M III Series feature a double-cut, solid body with extra long bass horn & six-on-a-side tuners on a reverse pointy headstock. Loaded with an HSH pickup configuration & Floyd Rose licensed tremolo for extreme playing. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to rock straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear/blemishes. There are a couple of extra screw holes in the top of the body near the tone control knob. Overall the guitar has neat look to it with an ultra cool vibe.
Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with gray pearloid side-inlays. 24 medium jumbo frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Reverse headstock with mother of pearl Gibson inlay & Gibson diecast tuners. 1 11/16" nut width with locking nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in ebony finish. Floyd Rose licensed tremolo bridge made in Germany by Schaller with original trem arm included. Single-ply firestripe/tortoise pickguard & black hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.1 oz.
Electronics: HSH configuration - 496R (neck), NSX single-coil (middle) & 500T (bridge). 5-way selector switch & 2-way mini toggle for coil splitting. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
