100% original & a really great player! This cute, little 3/4 size model sports the fatter single coil pickup & nicely rounded mahogany neck. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool look to with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, one-piece mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Open-back strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 9/16" nut width; 23" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single cutaway, solid mahogany body with sunburst finish top. Wrap-around bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply black pickguard with Melody Maker logo still intact. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 2.3 oz.
Electronics: "Fat" single coil bridge pickgup with black cover. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Pots date to '59 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original "alligator" chipboard case included.
