An excellent player's grade Melody Maker that was refinished in Cherry quite some time ago. A fun guitar to play with a smooth, comfortable feel. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to go straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various surface scratches, dents & dings along with some mild weather checking.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautifully figured rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Original Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body with single-ply black pickguard. Unoriginal compensated, wrap-around bridge with nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 15.4 oz.
Electronics: Original Melody Maker single coils with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with unoriginal black speed knobs. Unoriginal pots & lead wires. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
