Description

A groovy sounding Melody Maker finished in an ultra cool Pelham Blue that has aged beautifully over the years into green. The slender neck profile is super comfortable & plays great up & down the fretboard. Professionally inspected & set up, ready to play upon arrival.

Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The original Pelham Blue body finish has aged into green (as it typically does) and overall the guitar has a gorgeous, true vintage look to it with a beautiful patina.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Unoriginal Kluson Deluxe tuners in good working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: SG-shape solid mahogany body in Pelham Blue finish. Maestro tremolo tailpiece with compensated bridge. Single-ply pickguard has aged nicely into more of an off-white/cream color. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 2.9 oz.

Electronics: Single coil bridge pickup - 7.05K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Pots are original & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Gibson padded gig bag included.
