Description
Light weight, resonant & tons of fun to play, these vintage Melody Makers have always been a favorite here at Cream City Music, and thanks to a pro set up, this one plays really well.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are several decals on the body which we decided to leave on. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal Grover Pat Pend tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double cutaway, solid mahogany body with sunburst finish top. Wrap-around nickel bridge & single-ply black pickguard with faded Melody Maker logo. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 1.9 oz.
Electronics: Original single coil pickup in the bridge position. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. The wiring harness & pots are newer & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
