Light weight, resonant & tons of fun to play, these vintage Melody Makers have always been a favorite here at Cream City Music, and thanks to a pro set up, this one plays exceptionally well.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear & natural aging - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show sone wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners work fine. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double cutaway, solid mahogany body with sunburst finish top. Wrap-around, compensated bridge. Single-ply black pickguard with Melody Maker logo. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 6.8 oz.
Electronics: One single coil in the bridge position - 6.96K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. Pots date to '63 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage "alligator" chipboard case included.
