Just recently acquired from the original owner with the original sales receipt! Made for only a short period of time from around '93 until '98, the Nighthawk Custom features a flame maple top in Fireburst finish with gold hardware. The pickup combination is quite interesting & very dynamic - mini humbucker (neck); single coil (middle) & slanted full-size humbucker (bridge) with 5-way selector switch & coil tapping. This unique combination creates a truly broad sonic palette for the player to enjoy. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape actually considering it's nearly 30 years old! There are signs of some typical play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, light weather checking & some mild finish wear.
Neck: Slim Taper mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl crown inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock & Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with gorgeous flame maple top finished in Fireburst & cream binding. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 9.3 oz.
Electronics: Mini humbucker (neck); single coil (middle); slanted full-size humbucker (bridge) with 5-way selector switch. Master volume & tone controls with amber "top hat" knobs. The tone control is push/pull for coil tapping. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original receipt!
