Made for only a brief moment in the late '70s, this lovely RD Standard bass offers excellent tone & feel with passive electronics. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear.
Neck: Semi-chunky maple neck with some nice flame figuring. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays & black side-dots. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson diecast tuners & RD Standard Bass truss rod cover. 1 5/8" nut width; 34 3/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid maple body in natural finish. String-thru with 3-point adjustable bridge. 5-ply black pickguard & chrome hardware. Bass weighs 11 lbs 3.4 oz.
Electronics: Two passive humbuckers with black covers. Dual volume & master tone controls with black speed knobs. Pot are original & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The left latch is broken.
