Description

An ultra cool, true vintage beauty & just recently acquired from the original owner. The neck is silky smooth & plays like a dream anywhere on the fretboard. The pair of Pat No. humbuckers sound absolutely amazing & deliver warm, rich tones that seem to sustain for days. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical mild play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & weather checking. There's a tiny crack off the bass-side diamond F-hole that was filled with a bit of glue. There is a black stinger on the back of the headstock with the number 2 pressed into it, indicating the guitar was a factory second. However, there are no issues with it structurally or electronically. The cherry finish has dulled a bit over the years, but overall, the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double triangle inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions perfectly.

Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with bound "diamond" F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with Trini Lopez wooden badge. The cap on the treble-side of the tailpiece is unoriginal. ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 5-ply small black pickguard has warped a bit, but has no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5 oz.

Electronics: Original Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
