A super sexy beast from the height of hair metal - this gorgeous US-1 features a stunning flame maple top in cherry sunburst finish, set maple neck & loaded with a trio of screaming HSS pickups. Don't split your spandex! This beauty has been professionally set up & is ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape considering it's nearly 40 years old - various surface scratches along with some tiny nicks, chips, dents & dings. There are a couple of small burn marks on either side of the headstock, most likely from a hanger. Overall the guitar looks super rad & has a cool vibe to it.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with some nice flame figuring. Aged white binding with black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with raised Gibson logo & Grover mini tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, solid basswood body with flame maple top finished in Cherry Sunburst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.7 oz.
Electronics: HSS pickups each with their own on/off switches. Master volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. Pots date to '87 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
