Description
A true vintage Chet Atkins Nashville & super groovy player to boot. Classic Orange finish & loaded with a pair of FilterTrons for that great Gretsch sound! Pro set up included so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for its age - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some hardware tarnish. Both the neck & body binding show cracks & crackling with a small section along the neck that needed to be replaced. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: Two-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with open-gear tuners. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, chambered maple body with simulated F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge on a floating ebony base. Unoriginal silver plexi pickguard with Chet Atkins signpost logo. The mute mechanism is working with a brand new foam pad. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 9.9 oz.
Electronics: Original FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup, tone & standby switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal vintage hardshell case included.
