Description
An excellent player's grade Country Gent with a silky smooth feel & classic Gretsch tone! Professionally set up & ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Very clean for the most part with some mild play wear - various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches & some finish checking. Although a headstock repair could not be detected, there does appear to have been some refinish work done on the back of the headstock. Also, there are two filled holes in the top of the body near the two toggle switches. Overall the guitar is in great shape & has a really cool vibe to it.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl thumbnail inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with gold plaque. Grover Imperial tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow body with simulated F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge. Gold plexi pickguard & gold hardware. Dual string mutes function, but both pads have deteriorated over the years. Back pad is in great shape with all its snaps present. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 1.2 oz.
Electronics: Dual FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls all with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup, tone & standby switches. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
