Description
100% original & a nice player thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & hardware tarnish. There's the typical binding rot throughout the guitar with some missing pieces, but overall it has a cool vibe to it with an authentic vintage look & beautiful patina.
Neck: Two-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with Chet Atkins badge. Grover tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" nut width with zerop fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, chambered maple body with simulated F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge on a floating ebony base. Both mute pads have deteriorated, but the mechanisms function fine. Gold plexi pickguard with Chet Atkins signature. The back pad is in great shape with all its snaps & the plastic control cover underneath is also in great shape. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 6.2 oz.
Electronics: SuperTron neck humbucker & FilterTron bridge humbucker, both with gold bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup, tone & standby switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
