A true vintage beauty with an authentic vintage vibe! This lovely Duo Jets sports a pair of FilterTron humbuckers along with a Burns tremolo. Lightweight & exceptionally resonant, it's a definite must-have for any Gretsch aficionado. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical wear & tear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The binding has deteriorated in various spots with some cracking & small pieces that have chipped away. Overall the guitar has really cool look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with aged white binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Gretsch inlay & open-back tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, chambered mahogany body & maple top finished in black with 3-ply binding. Burns tremolo tailpiece with Space Control bridge on a floating ebony base. Gold plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo & gold hardware. Guitar weighs a delightful 7 lbs 0.8 oz & is exceptionally resonant.
Electronics: Dual FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels. 3-way pickup, tone & standby switches. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
