Description
A nice 50+ year old Guild made in Westerly, RI. The Bluegrass D-25 is at price point that makes it very affordable, but delivers a tone that resembles something a bit more pricey. Featuring an all-mahogany body with flat back & finished in classic cherry, this is a wonderful sounding dreadnought that plays very well thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Really great shape for its age - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches & some mild finish wear around the soundhole. Overall the guitar has a great, true vintage vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. 3-on-a-strip tuners in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought in cherry finish. Mahogany top, back & sides with flat back. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Rosewood bridge with cream end pins. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 7.6 oz.
Case: SKB hardshell case included.
