Description
For years Guild guitars have taken a back seat to vintage Martins & Gibsons, but when it comes to 12-String Jumbos, there is no match against the monstrous F512NT. Featuring a solid sitka spruce top combined with solid rosewood for the back & sides, this massive sounding Jumbo unleashes a powerful voice that projects like a cannon! Rich, robust & dynamic, not to mention perfectly balanced between the lower & higher registers. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The neck was professionally reset & the back of the neck refinished. There's also a tiny crack in the sound hole, just below the treble-side of the neck. The crack has been professionally glued & cleated.
Neck: Mahogany neck with multi-layer binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone triangles inside mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield inlays. Guild gold diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 13/16" nut width; 25 5/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound Jumbo size body in natural high gloss finish with multi-layer top & back binding. Solid Sitka spruce top with ebony bridge & cream bridge pins. The bridge is lifting up just ever so slightly, but it's hardly noticeable & quite stable. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with checkered center strip. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 3.7 oz.
Electronics: After-market passive under-saddle pickup.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
