Cosmetic Condition: Just recently acquired from the original owner who kept it in marvelous condition for the past four decades. Exceptionally clean with some mild surface scratches. Some of the bridge pin holes have been notched a bit, but overall the guitar looks fabulous.
Neck: Mahogany neck with multi-layer binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone triangles inside mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield inlays. Guild gold diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 13/16" nut width; 25 5/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound Jumbo size body in natural high gloss finish with multi-layer top & back binding. Solid Sitka spruce top with ebony bridge. The bridge is lifting up just ever so slightly, but it's hardly noticeable & quite stable. Cream bridge pins with abalone dot inlays. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with checkered center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 6 lbs 11.1 oz.
