This super cool, second version of Guild's M-80 features a 24-fret neck & loaded with a pair of muscular, yet dynamic sounding Guild XR-7 humbuckers with phase switch. All wrapped up in a sleek sunburst finish, this beauty has been professionally set up by us & is ready for action straight out of the case - also original & very cool looking!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear typical of its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool, authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Maple neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Guild diecast tuners in good working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body with maple top. Stopbar tailpiece with adjustable bridge & roller saddles. Three extra strap buttons have been added to the guitar. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 8.2 oz.
Electronics: Guild XR-7 humbuckers with black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. 3-way pickup toggle & 2-way mini toggle for out of phase. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
