A rare Guild Nightbird GG designed by George Gruhn. Featuring a flame maple top in natural finish & loaded with a pair of humbuckers that deliver rich, dynamic tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for its age with only light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the guitar is in great shape has a really cool vibe to it.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with Guild mother of pearl inlays. Kluson "waffle back" tuners & Nightbird GG truss rod cover. 1 11/16" width bone nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with flame maple top in natural finish & multi-ply binding. Stop tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. Small tortoise pickguard with 5-ply binding. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.3 oz.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers with black covers & bezels. Master volume & tone controls with black knurled knobs. The tone control is push/pull for coil tapping. 3-way toggle switch & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
