Description
Made for only a brief period around the the mid to late '80s, Guild's S-281 Flyer features a solid poplar body loaded with a pair of robust sounding Seymour Duncan humbuckers & Kahler tremolo bridge. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches.
Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Guild diecast tuners with locking nut. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Truss rod cover is missing.
Body: Contoured, solid poplar body finished in trans cherry. Kahler tremolo bridge with adjustable locking saddles & original trem arm included. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.2 oz.
Electronics: Dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch (Bridge - SH4; Neck - SH-1N). Master volume & tone controls with Guild "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Road Runner hardshell case included along with original owner's manual.
