Description
100% original & a terrific player thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music. The Cherry finish is still quite vibrant & the double humbuckers sound absolutely fabulous.
Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear for a guitar that's approaching 60 years old - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield inlays. Grover Sta-Tite nickel tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow mahogany body with dual F-holes & Florentine cutaway. Guild "harp" tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge on a floating rosewood base. Black plexi "stairstep" pickguard with gold Guild logo. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 1.5 oz.
Electronics: Guild humbuckers with black bezels & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with original Guild knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Later-period Guild hardshell case included.
