Description
A gorgeous guitar & really wonderful player despite the professional headstock repair. The dark green Emerald finish looks great & matches well with the white-top DeArmond single coils. Additional features include a Bigsby tremolo, black plexi pickguard & clear knobs to round out the package. Professionally set up & ready to peform right out of its original case!
Cosmetic Condition: As mentioned above, there is a headstock repair performed by our own master luthier, but it does not affect playability. In addition to this there are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. The guitar has an authentic vintage vibe with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Grover Sta-Tite nickel tuners work great. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Florentine cutaway, hollow mahogany body with dual F-holes & 3-ply top binding. Guild Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with compensated nickel bridge. Black plexi pickguard with gold Guild logo & star. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.7 oz & has a natural acoustic resonance.
Electronics: DeArmond single coil pickups with white tops. Dual volume & tone controls with original Guild knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
