Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a killer vintage 12-string that is loaded with tonal and aesthetic character. Between its 12-string configuration and vintage single-coil pickups, this guitar is absolutely full of mojo in terms of sound, with a warmer, fuller, neck response and perfectly-bright chime and jangle in the bridge. The tone switch kills the highs for a dark but pleasant tone and the mute switch dips the output for a warmer and mellower sound. The slim satin-finish neck moves effortlessly from the nut to the cutaway and the body’s slim size makes it a breeze to navigate around. Even with various love marks throughout, the finish has faded just right to give it the appropriate look as a long-loved axe in someone’s roster.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall, especially considering its age. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, gauges, scuffs, finish cracks (as shown in neck pocket picture) and scratches, but is still pretty clean for a guitar that’s at least 40 years old. The frets show only light to mild wear and still have a good amount of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functional.

Body: Double cutaway contoured sold body in Sunburst finish. 2-ply black pickguard. Fixed tailpiece and 6-saddle adjustable bridge. Black plastic top hat control knob.

Neck: Slim profile bolt-on neck and mahogany fingerboard with white dot inlays. 1 7/8” nut width. 24.5” scale length. Closed-back tuning machines.

Electronics: Single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge. 1 x volume control. 1 x on/off neck switch, 1 x on/off bridge switch, 1 x 2-way tone switch, 1 x 2-way mute switch. 1 x on/off standby switch (non-functional).

Weight: 7 lbs 12 oz

Playability/Sound: The slim neck and satin finish make this guitar play great from head to toe. The single-coils sound awesome and have lots of vintage vibe and pronounced character in each position. It comes with a unique control setup with on/off switches for each pickup, a tone switch to cut the highs, and a mute switch that dips the output a bit and provides a more mellow response.

Case: Includes gigbag.
