Description

A cool little hollowbody that's really fun to play. The pair of DeArmond gold foil single coils sound great & the chunky neck is super comfy anywhere on the fretboard. Set up with low action & fresh strings so it's ready to play upon arrival.

Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, typical for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a wonderful, true vintage vibe with a nice patina.

Neck: Chunky maple neck with 3-layer binding & black side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open gear tuners are in good working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 24 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Double-bound, single-cutaway, hollow body. Spruce top with nickel trapeze tailpiece & adjustable wooden bridge. Tortoise plexi pickguard & pickup bezels. Maple back & sides with sunburst back. Body stamp inside dates to 1960 & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.8 oz.

Electronics: DeArmond "gold foil" single coils. Bridge - 8.74K ohms; Neck -9.81K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with additional tone control when the pickup selector is in the middle position. 3-way pickup selector with "chicken beak" knob. Pots date to '60 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Hardshell case included.
