What makes this guitar special: A superb player from the late '70s, fitted with a pair of sweet sounding Super 80 "Flying Fingers" humbuckers. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for being nearly 40, with typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile, bolt-on neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl inlay. Gotoh Star tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway solid body with contoured back & multi-bound top. Ibanez stop tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 2 oz.
Pickups: Ibanez Super 80 humbuckers with gold Flying Fingers covers & black bezels. Bridge - 7.67K ohms; Neck - 7.83K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There is an old VanHalen sticker on the outside of the case we decided to leave on.
