Description
What makes this bass special: An excellent player's grade EB-0 with a cool vintage vibe. These basses are really popular with guitarists due to their short scale necks & the fact that they're usually rather light weight, like this one. Despite its less than stellar appearance, it's in perfect working condition & sounds great!
Cosmetic Condition: This one has definitely seen some action over the years - the finish has been completely stripped off, including the front of the headstock. There's a pretty good sized crack in the body, down by the input jack, that wraps around the bottom of the body into the control cavity. The crack is stable with no movement when pressure is applied. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings throughout the bass along with surface scratches. Overall the bass has that broken-in, well-played look with great mojo.
Neck: Nicely rounded, slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Small frets are in great shape with hardly any wear & plenty of life in them. Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. The D tuner is missing its back cover, but still functions fine. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany SG-style body. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable nylon saddles & original bridge cover. 3-ply black pickguard is missing the finger-rest. Bass weighs 7 lbs 2.7 oz.
Pickup: Large neck humbucker with chrome cover. Master volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
