Description
A super cool, true vintage D-35 with great feel & a gorgeous tone. The voice is best described as being warm & rich with wonderful sound projection & clarity. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear for a guitar this age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's a tiny crack underneath the pickguard that was professionally glued & cleated. Overall the guitar has a wonderful vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body in natural finish. Solid spruce top with unoriginal black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with unoriginal ivoroid end pins. The bridge is beginning to lift a bit & there is a slight gap at the back, but it's not too bad really. The bass-side of the bridgeplate was patched. Solid rosewood back & sides featuring a 3-piece back. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 12.1 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There are lots of decals on the outside of the case.
