Description
A super cool, true vintage D-35 with great feel & a gorgeous tone. The voice is best described as being warm & rich with wonderful sound projection & clarity. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: This one was definitely someone's go-to guitar & it has the road wear to prove it - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish "burns" on the back of the body. There's a crack in the neck just below the headstock that was professionally repaired & a crack around the neck heel that was also repaired. Both are stable. The bridge has been reglued & the bridge plate patched. Despite all the repairs, the guitar still has a really cool look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body in natural finish. Solid spruce top with black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with cream end pins & one mother of pearl dot inlay. Solid rosewood back & sides featuring a 3-piece back. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 13 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
