This gorgeous F-55 was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for being 60 years old with some signs of mild play wear - various tiny nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. Overall the guitar looks really clean & has a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe nickel tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Tremolo tailpiece with clear, adjustable compensated bridge. Black plexi pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 5.5 oz.
Electronics: Two DeArmond single coils with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
