Description
A lovely sounding Taro Patch uke that's a lot of fun to play. This beautiful Style-2 features an all Koa body & was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, dents & dings; scratches & some mild finish wear. There are a couple of unrepaired top cracks just behind the bridge. Overall the uke looks good & has a nice patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & micro dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Friction tuners with ivoroid buttons work well. 1 9/16" nut width; 15" scale length.
Body: Solid Koa top, back & sides with multi-ring rosette. Simple rosewood bridge & saddle. Bound top & back. Uke weighs 1 lbs 0.4 oz.
Case: Modern semi-hardshell case included.
