Description
Made for only a brief moment from the late '60s to the mid '70s in Maryland, Micro Frets offered a variety of unique body styles & pickups designed by Bill Lawrence. This Calibra I is in great shape for its age & has been professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Wonderful condition with only some mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the guitar is pretty clean for its age & has a really cool, true vintage vibe.
Neck: Maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Small frets are in great shape with just a tiny bit of wear. Open-gear strip tuners work perfectly. Unique nut featuring six individual rollers for each string. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Light-weight, double-cutaway body finished in trans red. Micro-Frets tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. 3-ply white control cover & clear plexi pickguard with Micro-Frets logo. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 7.2 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Two single coil pickups with large white covers & 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
