Description
What’s special about this bass: This is a great playing Japanese-made hollowbody violin bass guitar. Featured include a double-bound hollow violin shaped body, great sounding single coil pickups, super comfortable maple neck and fantastic playability all around!
Condition: Very good shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches and small nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the instrument with a few small finish cracks and some buckle rash on the back. There are two screw holes in the pickguard likely from a previously installed thumb rest. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: double-bound hollow violin-shaped body with a spruce top and maple back and sides in sunburst finish. Trapeze tailpiece with a height-adjustable rosewood bridge. Skirted control knobs, dual f-holes and a 3-ply tortoise pickguard.
Neck: slender and very nicely rounded maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard has some very nice natural variegation in the wood grain! Pearloid dot inlays, a zero-fret and a 1 5/8” nut. Closed-gear tuners, 30” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.

Bridge: 5.32K Ohms.
