Description

An excellent player's grade Ventures Model refinished in Wine Red & sporting a pair of original single coils that deliver classic Mosrite tone. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.

Neck: Slender profile maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. The neck has been oversprayed & The Ventures headstock decal is not original. Super dark rosewood fingerboard with micro dot inlays. Professionally refretted with slightly bigger frets than the typical small original frets. Vintage Kluson Deluxe tuners, however, there were different tuners on the guitar at some point as evidenced by the filled holes. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Solid maple body with arched top refinished in Wine Red. Original Moseley tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Unoriginal 3-ply white pickguard & additional one included. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 6.8 oz.

Electronics: Original Mosrite single coils with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with original "M knobs. Pots date to '72 & all electronics are in good working condition.
