Adamas represents Ovation's top of the line models & this lovely 1681 is second to none! Classic Lyrachord deep bowl back & carbon fiber top with leaf clusters, finished in blue. The V-shaped neck is super comfortable to play & the on-board electronics ensure the guitar is stage-ready at a moment's notice. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape & very clean for being nearly 40 years old with some mild surface scratches along with a few minor nicks & dings.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany & maple neck with white side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with 3-point inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Gold Schaller tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Carbon fiber top in blue finish with "rope" binding. Leaf clusters with open sound holes. Rosewood bridge with compensated saddle. Lyrachord deep bowl back in black finish. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 13.9 oz.
Electronics: On-board, active electronics in good working condition.
Case: Ovation semi-hardshell case included.
