Description
A 50 + year old beauty with a cool, true vintage vibe. This 360 model has a brilliant, acoustic resonance, coupled with a rich tone that extends from dark, earthy and organic up to bell-like chimes. The Fireglo finish has softened and worn in over the years, showing off some pretty bird's eye figuring in the body. Professionally set up and ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents and dings; surface scratches, weather checking and some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple and walnut neck with nicely aged cream binding and black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with stunning crushed pearloid inlays. Original small frets show some wear, but still have life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners in good working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. The treble side of the neck is straight, but there's just a slight bow in the bass side. However, both truss rods function fine and the guitar actually plays rather well.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with bound slash hole and checkered back binding. "R" tailpiece with compensated nickel bridge. Split-level white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 13.3 oz. Nice weight and exceptionally resonant!
Pickups: Original "toaster top" single coils sound fabulous and deliver that classic Rickenbacker tone. Dual volume and tone controls with blend knob; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '66 and all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
