Description

An excellent player's grade Ric 4001 finished in classic Fireglo. A Jazz Bass single coil was added in between the two Ric pickups along with two mini toggle switches & a Badass Bass II has replaced the original Ric tailpiece/bridge. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for its age with some play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a cool, true vintage vibe & nice patina.

Neck: Maple neck with walnut center strip. Nicely aged cream binding with black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Schaller open-gear nickel tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 33 1/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.

Body: Neck-thru design with solid maple wings & top binding. Unoriginal Badass Bass II top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles. Single-ply white plexi pickguard. Bass weighs 9 lbs 3.8 oz.

Pickups: Rickenbacker Hi Gain single coils. Bridge pickup cover is missing. Unoriginal DiMarzio Jazz Bass single coil in the middle. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. There are two mini toggles for the DiMarzio - on/off & phase. Mono & Stereo outputs. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
