Description
Made for only a brief moment from about the mid '80s to early '90s, this ultra cool 610 is a now discontinued model & sort of a spartan version of the 620. Finished in rare Silver with black hardware, this beauty is a real head turner & super fine player, delivering that signature Ric tone. Professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for being 34 years old - various little nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches, light weather checking & some variegation in the silver finish. The neck seams are visible through the finish & are not cracks. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with some flame figuring. Rosewood fingerboard with cream dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Schaller tuners stamped Made In W. Germany. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine. There's an extra strap button in the neck heel.
Body: Neck-thru design with "Cresting Wave" solid maple wings. "R" tailpiece & six-saddle adjustable bridge. Split-level black pickguard & black hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 1.7 oz.
Electronics: Two Hi-Gain single coils with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend. Mono output & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
