Description
A vintage 1966 Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve 2x12 piggyback tube amp. Prized for their thick overdrive tone, these amps are increasingly popular for garage and indie rock. The amp has been recently serviced with a grounded power cord and fresh filter capacitors. Additionally, the "umbilical" speaker cord coming from the head has been replaced with a standard 1/4" speaker jack, and a 1/4" plug has been added to the cord coming from the speaker. As with most of these old Silvetones, the reverb circuit is "working," but can be prone to feedback and "whistling" depending on your settings. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
