100% original & fully functioning, these old Jupiters have been steadily climbing in value over the years. This true vintage beauty features a chambered body with a pair of gorgeous sounding DeArmond single coils. The semi-chunky neck is very comfortable & plays great up & down the fretboard. The ultra cool gold sparkle over black complete the overall package. Pro set up included, so it's ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an authentic vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar looks great & has a beautiful patina.
Neck: Semi-chunky maple neck with 3-ply binding & black side-dots. Dark stained fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Raised Silvertone headstock logo. Open-gear nickel tuners in good working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 24 1/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, chambered body with cutaway. Trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge. Single-ply white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 2.4 oz.
Electronics: DeArmond single coils with 3-way selector switch for Treble, Blender & Bass. Dual volume & tone controls with blender control knob. Pots date to '59 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
