Description
Just recently acquired from the original owner who purchased the guitar brand new back in 1988 (the original receipt is in the case). This was his go-to guitar as evidenced by some of the play wear throughout. Still a great player with a gorgeous tone. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, light weather checking & some mild finish wear. The body binding has shrunk over the years & needed to be reglued in a few spots, so you'll notice some chipping along the edges, but overall the guitar is in great shape for being over three decades old!
Neck: Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" width bone nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought in natural finish. Solid spruce top with tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays. Compensated bone saddle. Solid mahogany back & sides with herringbone center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 10.1 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original warranty card & receipt!
