Just acquired from the orignal owner who purchased the guitar brand new back in 1990 & kept it in great shape over the years. Barely played & still really clean! This gorgeous 655-C-L features a Florentine cutaway along with some gorgeous flame figuring in the body. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean for a guitar that's three decades old!
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Ebony headstock veneer & Schaller made in W. Germany tuners. 1 7/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Jumbo size body with Florentine cutaway. Solid spruce top with 6-ply binding. Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays. Tortoise pickguard & multi-layer rosette with abalone inlay. Solid flame maple back & sides. 17" lower bout width & guitar weighs 5 lbs 5.6 oz.
