Description
A very rare & interesting, early Tom Anderson Strat-style solid body with an HSH pickup configuration loaded into a lightweight & exceptionally resonant pine body. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches.
Neck: Strat-style maple neck with some light bird's eye figuring. Rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. The guitar is currently fitted with Sperzel locking tuners, however, there were different tuners on the guitar at some point as evidenced by the filled holes. 1 5/8" nut width & 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid pine body in natural finish. Hardtail, string-thru bridge with adjustable saddles & single-ply cream pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 9.8 oz.
Electronics: Tom Anderson HSH pickups each with its own mini on/off switch. Master volume & tone controls with black skirted knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
