England's answer to the Fender Stratocaster - manufactured by JMI in Dartford, Kent, this lovely Vox Consort features a trio of glassy sounding single coils along with a rare Hank Marvin signature tremolo tailpiece. An excellent addition to any Vox aficionado's collection! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Semi-chunky & nicely rounded sycamore neck with cream side-dots. 7.25" radius dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Vox-branded nickel tuners & single string tree. The B tuners is missing its back cover. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured solid body finished in red. Hank Marvin signature roller-bearing tremolo tailpiece with compensated bridge & 3-ply white pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.3 oz.
Electronics: Three Vox V-II single coils with 3-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls with knurled skirted knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Hardshell case included.
