Description

What makes this guitar special? This is a wonderfully resonant guitar with some serious vintage vibe. This all maple hollow body features gorgeous flame figuring on the back, which is especially excellent over the long natural wavy maple grains and under the warm Sunburst finish. The top shows nice figuring as well, but displays more subtly under its hardware, allowing the aesthetic to be built on the overall color palette of other appointments and build elements. The gracefully aged top binding adds a nice frame to the body shape and complements the white-fill single-coil that sits dead center. The pickup has a very warm and clean response across the board and beautifully matches the guitar’s inherent acoustic tone. The body is light, the neck is extremely easy to move around, and the overall resonance makes this guitar a true pleasure to play.

Condition: This guitar is in good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, chips, dents, and scratches throughout the body and neck, but still looks and sounds great. There is some binding shrinkage as well. The frets show light to mild wear but still have a lot of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Single cutaway hollow body with bound flame maple top, flame maple back, and maple sides all in Sunburst finish. Raised black pickguard. Mounted rosewood bridge with chrome Guild tailpiece. Black top hat knobs with silver inserts. Unbound F hole.

Neck: Medium round C shape mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut. 3 per side open-gear tuning machines.

Electronics: Single-coil pickup in the neck. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control.

Neck: 9.06k Ohms

Weight: 4 lbs 10 oz

Playability/Sound: This guitar is not only incredibly light, but pretty well balanced given the weight of its body. The neck is extremely easy to move around and will be familiar to a wide variety of players. The pickup is very clean and has all the warm, genuine, woody character you could want from a single-coil in a hollow body guitar, especially one already rich with vintage vibe.

Case: Include Peavey Lite semi-hardshell case.
